The Clinica Verde team treats patients like family

María Pérez Amador has been bringing her family to Clinica Verde for care for the past 5 years – and she doesn’t plan on stopping. Originally from the rural community of El Tule Central, Maria first visited the clinic out of need and stayed “for all the support they gave me in medicine and milk for my child,” she said.

More recently, Maria received guidance from the Clinica Verde team for the treatment of her daughter Judit, who at nine years of age has chronic malnutrition. Judit and her mother are advised for free by the doctor and nutritionist at Clinica Verde – and are grateful for the support.

Like Maria, there are hundreds of mothers in Boaco who entrust the health of their children to the Clinica Verde team, who welcome such families with loving compassion. Their families become ours – and the smiles of children like Judit are the greatest reward of all.
